The HSE say that a tower scaffold is one solution in preventing a fall when working at height. What the type of tower is down to the type of work being undertaken. The course will provide wholly comprehensive training for anyone requiring to erect and dismantle a tower scaffold safely. The HSE say that tower scaffold use, erection and dismantling must be carried out by those trained and are competent to do so. There is no necessity for such a course to be accredited by a training body provided the training thats been given covers either the AGR Advanced Guard Rail or 3T method Through the trap door . The course will cover Tower scaffold provision and use and scaffold inspection.

The new must-have CISRS training makes it a requirement for any new entrant Scaffolding Trainee or Scaffolding Labourer to complete a CISRS one-day course before a card will be issued. Course is designed to provide all new scaffolder trainees and labourers an appreciation of general site safety. IRATA levels 1 2 & 3 rope access courses are designed to provide basic rope access training at level 1 through to more advanced competency at levels 2 and 3.
