Overview:
The CISRS Scaffold Awareness Course provides essential knowledge for anyone who works alongside or oversees scaffolding on construction sites but does not erect or dismantle it. Delegates learn the fundamental principles of scaffold design, component recognition, safety standards and legal requirements that apply to tube-and-fitting, system and mobile scaffolds. The training emphasises real workplace scenarios so participants can recognise hazards, understand inspection procedures and contribute to safe systems of work.

On successful completion of the written test and practical exercises, delegates receive a CISRS Scaffold Awareness certificate. The qualification is valid for five years. Refresher training is recommended before expiry to maintain current knowledge of regulations and best practice.
