Course Agenda

The Safety Harness Rescue training course is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and effectively rescue someone who has fallen while working at heights. The course covers a range of topics including risk assessment, equipment selection, and rescue techniques. Participants will also learn how to work as a team to execute a successful rescue.

The course begins with an overview of the legislation and regulations surrounding working at heights, including the importance of conducting a thorough risk assessment. Participants will then learn about the different types of safety harnesses and how to select the appropriate one for different situations. This is followed by a detailed demonstration and hands-on practice of how to properly don and adjust a harness.

The training then moves on to the core of the course - rescue techniques. Participants will learn how to assess a fallen workers condition and determine the best course of action. They will also be trained in how to safely lower a person to the ground using a variety of rescue devices, such as a rescue ladder or rope system. Additionally, participants will learn how to use a rescue kit and perform a self-rescue if necessary.

Participants will learn how to work together effectively to execute a rescue, as well as how to communicate clearly and efficiently during an emergency. Training Venue

Welcome to the Tonbridge Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Tonbridge, with a postcode of TN91SS. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your course start time for registration and induction. Limited parking is available on a first come first served basis, so we suggest arriving early to secure a spot. If the carpark is full, there is a nearby Pay and Display option. Unfortunately, large vans may not be able to park on site. Dont worry, weve got you covered with complimentary tea and coffee to keep you energized throughout the day. For directions, we suggest taking the A228 from the M20 or A21 from the M25. If youre coming by rail, the Tonbridge mainline station is just a short walk away. Accreditation

Successful candidates who attend and pass the Safety Harness Rescue training course will receive a certificate of completion from Xyz Training Group.
