Joining Instructions

Course Pre-requisites Delegates must be at least 18 years of age. Course Assembly Registration commences at website and closes at website This will enable the course to start promptly at website Anyone arriving after website may be unable to attend the course, this is at the instructors discretion. Car parking facilities are available at the front and right of the building. Equipment & Clothing Delegates must provide their own comfortable clothing, Sibbald Ltd will provide all Equipment required throughout the course duration. Certification Certification is normally valid for a 3 year period unless otherwise stated. If delegates have any medical conditions that affect training that they wish to undertake, they must seek medical advice in advance and obtain a medical certificate. Sibbald reserve the right to exclude any trainee from the training at any stage if they have concerns regarding the trainee’s health and/or fitness (this includes the use of drugs and alcohol). Refreshments Refreshments are provided throughout the day. along with a light lunch Assessment of courses It should be noted that all courses provided by Sibbald contain elements of written and practical assessment. If a candidate fails an assessed element the trainer will provided further explanation/ demonstration to aid the candidate understanding of the topic or technique. The candidate will then be given a second opportunity to complete the assessed element. If a candidate is unable to complete an assessed element they will be deemed unable to complete the course. In the case of a candidate failing an assessment the trainee and employer will be informed of the assessment outcome. Appeals against an assessment outcome should be made by e-mail or letter. Delivery of training All our courses are delivered in English candidates attending training courses should be able to read, write and speak English. If this is not the case additional arrangements for translation will have to be made at the expense of the person/organisation booking the course. Candidates with any special learning difficulties should contact the training department prior to training delivery so arrangements can be made to help them on the course.
