Course Agenda

The Personal Track Safety (PTS) training course commences with a comprehensive introduction to the rail industry, focusing on the importance of safety, the key hazards present on the railway, and the crucial role each individual plays in ensuring safety. The first session delves into the rules and regulations governing the railway environment. This includes understanding the different types of signals, signs, and their meanings, as well as the procedures for safe track access and exit. The second session is practical, where trainees learn how to react to emergency situations, use safety equipment, and perform lifesaving procedures. The final session is an assessment, where trainees' understanding of the course content is evaluated through a written test and practical demonstration. This ensures that all trainees leave the course with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain their own safety and that of their colleagues on the railway..
