A PASMA Towers for Stairs training course covers the safe assembly, dismantling, and use of mobile access towers designed for stairways. It is part of the Health and Safety training family and is essential for those working at heights and needing to access stairways.

Participants will learn about different types of mobile access towers for stairs and selecting the appropriate one for a specific task. They will also be taught safe erection and dismantling techniques, including bracing and stabilizers. Risk assessments and hazard identification and mitigation will also be covered.

The course includes proper use of personal protective equipment PPE, safe climbing and descending of the tower, and maintaining a safe working environment. Participants will also learn about tower inspection and maintenance. Practical exercises will allow participants to apply their knowledge and skills in a controlled environment.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a PASMA certificate, valid for five years and recognized by major contractors and organizations. The course is delivered by experienced and qualified instructors, ensuring high-quality training.

Welcome to the Tonbridge Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Tonbridge, with a postcode of TN91SS. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your course start time for registration and induction. Limited parking is available on a first come, first served basis, so we suggest arriving early to secure a spot. If our carpark is full, there is a nearby Pay and Display option. Please note that large vans may not be able to park on site. We understand the importance of staying refreshed during training, which is why we offer complimentary tea and coffee. If youre arriving by road, our centre is easily accessible from the M20, M25, and A21. If youre coming by rail, the Tonbridge mainline station is just a short walk away.
