Course Information
PASMA Tower for Users including BETA Advanced Guardrail is a course that is similar to that of the standard PASMA for Users courses and is designed to provide a 1 day course in the safe use and erection of a mobile access tower scaffold. This course includes the advanced Guardrail system. An advanced guardrail system provides best practice collective protection for the user but without the manual handling problems associated with current industry practice. The BetaGuard System in conjunction with the PASMA course also simplifies aluminium tower erection by eliminating the need for both horizontal and diagonal braces reducing the main components to a total of three.
Who Should Attend?
Any person who has the need either domestically or in the course of their employment to erect a mobile aluminum tower scaffold. The Advanced Guardrail tower combines the two courses and two methods of operation to form a single course.

Course Agenda
In this PASMA Scaffold Tower inc BETA Tower training course, you will learn about the legislation, regulations, and guidance that govern working at height with mobile access towers. We will cover the PASMA Code of Practice and product standards, specifically EN 1004 2004. You will also be trained on how to assemble both the standard tower and the Advanced Guardrail system. This will include altering and dismantling towers, while following current best practices for fall protection.
During the course, our experienced instructors will guide you through the inspection process for completed mobile access towers. You will learn how to properly inspect the tower and complete the necessary Tower Inspection Records. We will also discuss common hazards that can affect the use of mobile access towers and how to avoid them. This knowledge is essential for ensuring the safety of yourself and others while working at height.

Welcome to The Training Centre in Tonbridge! Were excited to have you join us. To ensure a smooth start, please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your course induction and registrationaim for 815 am if your course begins at 830 am. Parking is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early is advisable. If the car park is full, you can use the nearby Pay and Display in Sovereign Way at your own expense. If youre travelling by train, the centre is just a short walk from Tonbridge mainline station. Accreditation
Upon successful completion of the PASMA Scaffold Tower inc BETA Tower training course, candidates will receive a 5-year PASMA accreditation. This accreditation is recognized by the industry and demonstrates the candidates competence in working safely and effectively with scaffold towers.
