Who Should Attend?

Anyone in an organisation, who assembles, alters, dismantles, moves, inspects and most importantly USES low level access equipment such as podiums, folding room scaffolds and wide area platforms. This not only includes construction sites but all workplaces, such as schools, offices and factories both internally and externally.

Joining Instructions

Specific PASMA Low Level Access Platforms joining instructions will be supplied to you (if appropriate) once your booking is confirmed. If, once confirmation has been received, you are in anyway unsure of what prerequisites or items you need to bring or provide, then your dedicated training manager or the trainer conducting your course will be able to confirm this with you. Course Agenda

The course will also cover the importance of risk assessments and how to carry them out effectively. This will involve identifying potential hazards, evaluating the level of risk, and implementing control measures to minimize or eliminate these risks. Participants will learn how to create a safe working plan and communicate it to others on the worksite.

The course will also touch upon the legal responsibilities of employers and employees when it comes to working at heights. This includes the duty to provide proper training and equipment, as well as the responsibility to follow safety protocols and report any incidents or near misses. Participants will gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions to deepen their understanding of the topics covered. They will also receive a comprehensive course manual for future reference. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a PASMA Low Level Access Tower training certificate, which is valid for five years. This will demonstrate their competence and commitment to safe working practices.

Training Venue

Welcome to the Tonbridge Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Tonbridge, with a postcode of TN91SS. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your course start time for registration and induction. Limited parking is available on a first come first served basis, so we suggest arriving early to secure a spot. If our carpark is full, there is a nearby Pay and Display option. Please note that large vans may not be able to park on site. Once youre settled in, we offer complimentary tea and coffee to keep you refreshed throughout the day. If youre arriving by road, our centre is easily accessible from the M20, M25, and A21. For those taking the train, we are just a short walk from the Tonbridge mainline station.
