Course Agenda

The PASMA Combined Tower and Low Level Access training course covers all the necessary aspects of working at heights, as required by current legislation, regulations, and guidance. This includes the PASMA Code of Practice and PAS250, which is the publicly available specification for mobile access towers. Participants will learn how to assemble, alter, and dismantle both low level access units and standard mobile access towers.

One of the key focuses of this training course is on current best practices for fall protection. This is essential for ensuring the safety of workers who are using towers and platforms at heights. Participants will also learn how to properly inspect both low level and standard mobile access towers, and how to keep accurate tower inspection records.

The course also covers potential hazards that may affect the use of units and platforms at heights. This includes identifying and mitigating risks such as uneven ground, inclement weather, and electrical hazards. Participants will learn how to safely navigate these hazards and ensure a secure working environment for themselves and their colleagues.

Training Venue

Welcome to the Milton Keynes Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Milton Keynes, with a postcode of MK1 1AX. While parking spaces directly outside the centre are limited, there is free parking available on Lyon Road. However, these spaces tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early to secure a spot. Dont worry about bringing your own refreshments, as drinks will be provided during your training. For those driving to the centre, the directions are simple. From the A5, head west on Rampart Way towards Ironmasters Way. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the M54 ramp towards Birmingham/Wolverhampton/M6. Merge onto the M54 and then take the right exit onto the M6. Stay on the M6 and then take the M1 exit. Keep right at the fork and merge onto the M1. At junction 14, take the A509 exit and continue towards A509. At Broughton Interchange, take the 3rd exit onto A509. At Northfield Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto H6 Childs Wy/A4146. Follow the road until you reach the training centre. We understand that some delegates may be arriving in large vans or lorries, but unfortunately, they will not be able to park next to the training centre. However, there are alternative parking options available nearby.
