Who Should Attend?

This course is for operatives who are new to the asbestos industry and have had no formal training, the course combines classroom based theory and hands on practical training.

Asbestos Types - Uses & Risks of ACM's - Health Hazards - Legislation, Site set up - maintenance and dismantling (Including practical enclosure set up), Controlled stripping techniques, RPE & PPE (including practical maintenance of RPE), Transit procedures & Decontamination (including practical element), Cleaning and Clearance Air Testing, Plant and equipment (including demonstration of equipment), Waste Management & Disposal - Emergency Procedures, Non Asbestos Hazards - Fault Finding - Roles & Responsibilities - Site Inspections and record keeping, Management systems and monitoring (Including practical Controlled stripping techniques), Introduction to risk assessments & plan of works..

Simply head southeast on High St/St Johns Rd/A491 towards Duke St, then continue onto New Rd and Bath Rd/A491. Keep left on High St/A491 and turn left onto Platts Cres.
