To give delegates an awareness of how injuries can occur To understand the legal responsibilities relating to manual handling To help delegates recognise and perform safe basic handling movements To give delegates an appreciation of the principles of human kinetics Identify the risks involved in incorrectly handling and moving objects Risk assessment and control of the risks involved .

Welcome to The Training Centre in Derby! Getting here is straightforward. If youre coming from the A38, head south on Kingsway towards Kingsway Roundabout. Take the 3rd exit and continue on Kingsway. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Ashbourne Rd/A52. Turn right onto Agard St/A52, then left onto Ford St/A601. Keep going on A601, turn left onto Mansfield Rd, and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit to stay on Mansfield Rd. Continue straight onto Alfreton Rd, and youll find The Training Centre on your right. We have 12 designated off-road parking spaces available on a first-come basis, plus free on-road parking. Refreshments will be provided, but please note that lunch is not included. We look forward to welcoming you!. Refreshments available but no lunch provided
