It consists of practical and theory assessments over at least four hours, and covers when and how to use a ladder, handling and storage, understanding the law, standards, and potential hazards.Ladder & Stepladder Inspection courseThe inspection course is aimed at anyone who may be responsible for inspecting and maintaining ladders or stepladders in their workplace. It is as comprehensive as the Ladder & Stepladder User course, and covers practical guidance on assessing the need for inspection, fault-finding and recommending actions, record keeping, as well as the law.

Joining Instructions

Qualifications & experience: Must pass the Ladder for Users morning session to complete the inspection afternoon session.PPE Suitable head / footwear and gloves during the practical sessionLiteracy, fitness & Health Delegates must be numerate, literate and have a good command of English. They should be fit and capable of lifting, carrying and manoeuvring ladders and stepladders during the inspection process

Welcome to the Tonbridge Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Tonbridge, with a postcode of TN91SS. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your course start time for registration and induction. Limited parking is available on a first come first served basis, so we suggest arriving early to secure a spot. If the carpark is full, there is a nearby Pay and Display option. Unfortunately, large vans may not be able to park on site. Dont worry, weve got you covered with complimentary tea and coffee to keep you energized throughout the day. For directions, we suggest taking the A228 from the M20 or A21 from the M25. If youre coming by rail, the Tonbridge mainline station is just a short walk away. Successful candidates of the Ladder Association combined User & Inspection course will receive a certificate of attendance from Xyz Training Group.
