We strongly recommend that you complete your theory 48 hours prior to your practical course date. We are unable to help with any technical support for e-learning issues., , , Your e-learning theory and test are now allocated and you should now have received an email from email address to access the theory and test – please check your Junk/Spam/Clutter folders if it is not in your Inbox. The e-learning is NOT accessed via the ePal app., , , You will need an IPAF ID (username & password) to log in; this will be the same username & password that you use to log in to the ePAL app for your digital licence, Operator Safety Guide and Log Book (e-learning is NOT completed through the ePal app)., , , The e-learning can be used on a laptop, phone, ipad, computer – anything with a camera to enable facial recognition. The facial recognition ensures that a candidate’s identification can be verified throughout the course and in the completion of the test. You will be provided with a receipt of completion which includes your photograph for verification purposes. You should either print or screen shot the receipt of completion and then show this to the instructor when you arrive at the training centre for your practical test., , , We recommend setting up and completing your e-learning first and then downloading your IPAF ePal app. Use the email and password that you used for e-learning to log into ePal, prior to attending the practical course. The ePal app will also contain your Log Book and Operator Safety Guide. This course now produces digital IPAF ePAL certification (alternatively, for a fee, a physical card and certificate must be requested upon booking the course with us)

The course then moves onto discussing the relevant legislation and regulations related to MEWPs, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations. The course concludes with a review of best practices for the safe transportation, storage, and maintenance of MEWPs. Participants will also receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course, which is valid for five years.

Welcome to The Training Centre in Llantwit Major! Getting here is straightforward. If youre coming from the A48M in Cardiff, head southwest onto Eastern Avenue. Take the A4232 exit towards Bridgend and follow the signs. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Pentwyn Link Road, then merge onto the M4. After taking exit 35 towards Bridgend, continue on the A473. At Pencoed Interchange, take the 3rd exit onto A473, then follow the signs to Llantwit Major. Once you reach the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto B4265, turn right onto Llanmaes Road, and left onto Eagleswell Road. Finally, turn left onto Monmouth Way, and youll find The Training Centre waiting for you! Safe travels!
