Registration Time: If this is a morning course registration time is 08:15am for 08.30am start. If this is an afternoon course registration time is 12.45pm for 13.00pm start. If the course is at Evolve please note our office does not open until 8am. Duration: Half Day. Equipment Required: None. Extra Information: If any delegates have special requirements e.g. wheelchair access, reading or writing difficulty, please let us know in order for us to provide an appropriate classroom or arrange assistance for written exercises. Course Agenda

The Safe Use and Inspection of a Safety Harness training course is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely at heights. This includes understanding the relevant work at height regulations and legislation, as well as their legal responsibilities. Participants will also learn how to select the appropriate work equipment and restraint systems to prevent falls and reduce risks for themselves and others. ##$$##The course will cover the proper procedures for inspecting personal protective equipment, specifically safety harnesses. Participants will learn how to conduct thorough inspections of their own equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for purpose. This includes identifying any potential hazards or defects and knowing when to replace or repair equipment. ##$$##In addition to learning about regulations and equipment, participants will also gain practical skills in confidently selecting and donning a harness correctly. This includes understanding the different types of harnesses and how to properly adjust and secure them for maximum safety. By the end of the course, participants will have the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely at heights and prevent falls. ##$$##.

Morning courses starts at 8:30am and afternoon courses start at 1.00pm. As this is a half day course, lunch is not provided. Delegates will receive 1 x 10 minute break.

Training Venue

We have parking for 80 people. We are 15 minutes away from Dyce Train Station and 10 minutes away from the nearest bus stop.. Tea & Coffee is available along with Drinking Water. There is options to purchase Soft Drinks and Breakfast Rolls at Breaktime

Accreditation

The successful candidate of the Safe Use and Inspection of a Safety Harness training course will receive a 3-year accreditation by XYZ Training Group Ltd.
