The GWO Basic Safety Training 5 Module Package is a comprehensive training course designed for individuals working in the wind energy industry. This course covers five essential modules Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, and Sea Survival. Each module is specifically tailored to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely and efficiently in a wind turbine environment.

The course begins with the Working at Heights module, which focuses on the risks and hazards associated with working at heights, as well as the proper use of personal protective equipment and fall protection systems. Participants will also learn about rescue techniques and emergency procedures in case of a fall.

The First Aid module covers basic first aid techniques and procedures, including CPR, wound care, and treatment for common injuries in a wind turbine environment. Participants will also learn how to assess and respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate first aid until professional help arrives.

The Manual Handling module teaches participants how to safely lift, carry, and move heavy objects in a wind turbine environment. This includes proper body mechanics, ergonomics, and risk assessment techniques to prevent musculoskeletal injuries. The Fire Awareness module covers fire prevention, detection, and response in a wind turbine environment, including the use of fire extinguishers and evacuation procedures. Welcome to the Kendal Training Centre! Located in the charming town of Kendal, our centre is easily accessible via the M6 motorway and offers a convenient postcode of LA96NH. Simply head south on the M6 and take the M65 exit towards Burnley/Blackburn. From there, follow the signs for the M6 and take the Barrow/Kendal exit at junction 36. Once on the A590, continue straight onto the A591 and then take the A6 ramp towards South Kendal. Our centre is just a short drive from there. Youll know youve arrived when you see the Station Mini Roundabout - take the 2nd exit onto Longpool/A6 and then turn left onto Mint Bridge Rd. Youre here! Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the GWO Basic Safety Training 5 Module Package, candidates will receive a GWO Module 5 certificate. This certificate is internationally recognized and accredited by the Global Wind Organisation GWO. It is a mandatory requirement for anyone working in the wind industry.

Candidates who are members of the National Training Card will have their GWO Module 5 accreditation automatically added to their account. This means that they will have a record of their training and can easily access it for future job opportunities.

At the end of the course, Xyz Training Group will provide temporary certificates of attendance to all candidates. This serves as proof that the candidate has completed the training and is eligible to work in the wind industry. It also allows them to start working immediately while waiting for their official GWO Module 5 certificate to be processed.
