Accreditation

The Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW training course is accredited and recognized by the Health and Safety Executive HSE in the UK. Successful candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.

The First Aid at Work (FAW) assessments include practical and written components to evaluate candidates' knowledge and hands-on abilities. The practical tests require candidates to demonstrate essential skills, such as conducting a primary survey, performing CPR, using an AED, and managing scenarios like choking, bleeding, and fractures. The trainer assesses these scenarios to ensure correct technique and understanding. The written component is a multiple-choice test that evaluates theoretical knowledge of first aid practices, workplace responsibilities, and how to handle various emergencies. Both tests must be passed to receive the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work certification. Candidates are entitled to a free retest and additional support if necessary, ensuring they have every opportunity to complete the course and gain their certification successfully.. 0
