Course Agenda

A typical IPAF MEWPs Safety Harness training course will cover the safe use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms MEWPs and the proper use of safety harnesses. Participants will learn how to identify potential hazards, conduct pre-use inspections, and safely operate the equipment. They will also learn how to properly fit and use a safety harness, including how to tie off and perform self-rescue techniques.

The course will also cover relevant legislation and regulations, such as the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. Participants will gain an understanding of their legal responsibilities and the importance of following safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. They will also learn about risk assessment and emergency procedures.

Practical exercises and demonstrations will be a key part of the course, allowing participants to put their knowledge into practice. They will have the opportunity to operate a variety of MEWPs and practice using safety harnesses in a controlled environment. Training Venue

Welcome to the Milton Keynes Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Milton Keynes, with a postcode of MK1 1AX. While parking spaces directly outside the centre are limited, there is free parking available on Lyon Road. However, these spaces tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early to secure a spot.Once youre settled in, well provide you with refreshing drinks to keep you energized throughout your training. Our centre is easily accessible from the A5, just head west on Rampart Way towards Ironmasters Way. From there, follow the directions to merge onto the M54 and then the M6. Continue on the M6 until you reach the M1 exit, and then take the A509 exit towards A509. At Broughton Interchange, take the 3rd exit onto A509 and then the 2nd exit at Northfield Roundabout onto H6 Childs Wy/A4146. Follow the road until you reach the training centre.We understand that some delegates may be arriving in large vans or lorries, and unfortunately, they will not be able to park next to the training centre. Upon successful completion of the IPAF MEWPs Safety Harness training course, candidates will receive a certificate of attendance from Xyz Training Group.
