Course Agenda

A typical IPAF MEWPs Safety Harness training course will cover the safe use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms MEWPs and the proper use of safety harnesses. Participants will learn how to identify potential hazards, conduct pre-use inspections, and safely operate the equipment. They will also learn how to properly fit and use a safety harness, including how to tie off and perform self-rescue techniques. ##$$##The course will also cover relevant legislation and regulations, such as the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. Participants will gain an understanding of their legal responsibilities and the importance of following safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. They will also learn about risk assessment and emergency procedures. ##$$##Practical exercises and demonstrations will be a key part of the course, allowing participants to put their knowledge into practice. They will have the opportunity to operate a variety of MEWPs and practice using safety harnesses in a controlled environment.
