In this Abrasive Wheel TTT training course, participants will learn the necessary skills to become a qualified trainer in abrasive wheel safety. The course will cover the legal requirements and regulations surrounding the use of abrasive wheels, as well as the potential hazards and risks associated with them. Participants will also learn about the different types of abrasive wheels and how to select the appropriate one for a specific task.
The course will provide practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises to enhance learning and understanding. Participants will have the opportunity to practice using abrasive wheels and learn how to conduct a thorough risk assessment before using them. They will also learn how to properly mount, balance, and dress abrasive wheels, as well as how to inspect them for any defects.
The course will also cover the safe handling and storage of abrasive wheels, as well as the correct use of personal protective equipment PPE when working with them. Participants will learn how to identify and prevent common accidents and injuries associated with abrasive wheel use, and how to respond in case of an emergency. Welcome to the Tonbridge Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Tonbridge, with a postcode of TN91SS. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your course start time for registration and induction. Limited parking is available on a first come, first served basis, so we suggest arriving early to secure a spot. If our carpark is full, there is a nearby Pay and Display option at your own expense. Unfortunately, large vans may not be able to park on site. Dont worry, we have you covered with complimentary tea and coffee to keep you energized throughout the day. For directions, we suggest taking the A228 from the M20 or A21 from the M25. If youre coming by rail, our centre is just a short walk from the Tonbridge mainline station. Accreditation
Successful candidates of the Abrasive Wheel TTT training course will receive a certificate of completion, accredited by Xyz Training Group.
