Joining Instructions

A basic command of written and spoken English is required for this course. Terms and conditions will be sent once a booking enquiry has been made, which must be accepted in writing prior to a place being confirmed. An invoice will then be issued and payment must be received at least 7 days prior to the first course date.

Accreditation

Successful candidates will achieve the CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS 5 day course, recognised by the Construction Industry Training Board CITB. Valid for 5 years.

In addition, candidates will receive an Xyz Training Group certificate of attendance, recognised by a high percentage of major organisations in the UK.

The SMSTS Site Management 5 day training course is designed for site managers and aspiring managers, providing essential knowledge and skills for effective construction site management and safety..

The course is delivered in an open and interactive manner, and involves the use of case studies and group ‘workshop’ style training. Delegates will also need to undertake some home study through the course with the use of the workbooks and course material. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the course which must be passed in order to obtain the certificate and qualification.. The exam can be failed, but this is highly unlikely and revision time can be used prior to the exam on the final day of the course.
