Course Agenda

The CISRS Scaffolding 2 Day CPD Refresher training course is designed for individuals who have previously completed the CISRS Scaffolding Part 1 and Part 2 courses. The course aims to refresh their knowledge and skills in working at heights, ensuring they are up to date with the latest regulations and safety standards.

The first day of the course will cover the theoretical aspects of scaffolding, including an overview of the current legislation and regulations, risk assessment and safe working practices. Participants will also learn about different types of scaffolding, their uses and limitations, and how to identify potential hazards. Practical exercises will be conducted to reinforce the theoretical knowledge.

On the second day, participants will focus on practical skills, such as erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures, tying and fixing scaffolding, and using different types of scaffolding equipment. They will also learn about the importance of effective communication and teamwork when working at heights. The course will conclude with a written assessment to test the participants understanding and a practical assessment to evaluate their skills.

Upon successful completion of the CISRS Scaffolding 2 Day CPD Refresher training course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a CISRS card, which is valid for five years. Welcome to the Swansea Training Centre! Our venue is located in the town of Swansea, with the postcode SA18QA. We pride ourselves on being fully accessible, ensuring that all delegates can attend our training sessions comfortably.We understand that training can be hungry work, which is why we have a food van on site at approximately 12 noon. They offer a variety of food and drinks for purchase, so you can refuel and recharge during your break. We also provide complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits on site. If you prefer to bring your own food, we have a kitchen equipped with a microwave and fridge for your convenience.Getting to our training centre is easy. Simply head north on the A483 from Swansea and take the exit towards the M4. Merge onto the M4 and take exit 43 towards A465. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A465 and then the 2nd exit again at the next roundabout onto A474. From there, turn left onto B4603 and continue onto Neath Rd/A4230. Follow the road and turn right onto A4230, then left onto Skewen Rd/A4230. Continue on A4230 and turn left onto High St/B4290, followed by a right onto Church Rd/B4290. Finally, turn left onto New Rd and then right onto Station Rd. Accreditation

Successful candidates who attend and pass the CISRS Scaffolding 2 Day CPD Refresher training course will receive a CISRS Renewal certificate.
