The CISRS Scaffold Part 1 Training is delivered by CISRS Accredited Centres over 10 consecutive days. On completion the trainee operative will be able, as a member of a team, to erect, alter and dismantle the above scaffold structures safely and in their correct sequence....

Who Should Attend?

This CISRS Scaffolder training course is designed for trainees who have 6 months experience within the scaffolding industry.

Joining Instructions

Prior to attending a CISRS Part One Scaffolding course, the delegate(s) must have held a CISRS COTS card for six months and a CITB HSE

Course Agenda

Centre Induction and completion by delegates of Training Terms and Conditions Form Health & Safety Awareness Day Fall Prevention Training (SG4) Performance Standards (BS EN 12810/11 and TG20:13) tube and fittings courses. General Scaffolding Awareness Stability, Ties and Anchors (including TG4) Manual Handling Techniques Foundations & Ground Conditions Methods of Access Gin wheels, ropes, knots & hitches Interpretation of drawings Independent Tied Scaffold (theory & practical) Putlog Scaffold (theory and practical) tube and fitting courses Static Tower Scaffolds (theory & practical) Birdcage scaffolds (theory & practical) Alterations to scaffolds (e.g. changing a lift height) TG20 Stair Access (theory & practical) Mobile Aluminium Tower Training for Scaffolders (MATS) Scaffold Inspection (theory).

Welcome to The Training Centre in Weston-super-Mare! Getting here is a breeze. If youre coming from the M5 motorway, simply take exit 21 towards Weston-super-Mare and follow the A370. As you approach, turn left onto Herluin Way, then take a right onto Winterstoke Road. Keep going straight onto Hutton Moor Road, and then turn left onto Churchland Way. Accreditation

Successful candidates will achieve the CISRS Scaffold Training Part 1 award from the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme CISRS. This award is valid for 5 years and is recognized by major organizations in the UK.

Candidates will also receive a certificate of attendance from Xyz Training Group, serving as proof of their completion of the course. This certificate demonstrates their knowledge and skills in working at heights safely and effectively.

Additionally, candidates who are members of the National Training Card NTC will have their accreditation automatically added to their account.
