Who Should Attend?

Any person who requires the need to be trained in CISRS CPD 2 Day through the course of their normal working duties. This course is suitable for anyone working in the arena or sector.

Joining Instructions

This couNrse is for existing CISRS Scaffolder and Advanced Scaffolder card holders, who wish to renew their cards. Please note, only those who hold expired cards, or cards that will expire no more than six months prior to the date of the course, are eligible to attend.

Course Agenda

The CISRS Scaffolding 2 Day CPD Refresher training course is designed for individuals who have previously completed the CISRS Scaffolding Part 1 and Part 2 courses. The course aims to refresh their knowledge and skills in working at heights, ensuring they are up to date with the latest regulations and safety standards.

The first day of the course will cover the theoretical aspects of scaffolding, including an overview of the current legislation and regulations, risk assessment and safe working practices. Participants will also learn about different types of scaffolding, their uses and limitations, and how to identify potential hazards. Practical exercises will be conducted to reinforce the theoretical knowledge.

On the second day, participants will focus on practical skills, such as erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures, tying and fixing scaffolding, and using different types of scaffolding equipment. They will also learn about the importance of effective communication and teamwork when working at heights. The course will conclude with a written assessment to test the participants understanding and a practical assessment to evaluate their skills.

Upon successful completion of the CISRS Scaffolding 2 Day CPD Refresher training course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a CISRS card, which is valid for five years. This course is essential for those working in the construction industry, as it ensures they are competent and knowledgeable in scaffolding, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries. With a postcode of WA36FW, youll have no trouble finding us. Our centre is equipped with all the necessary facilities for your training, including refreshments and comfortable seating. To get here, simply head north on the M6 and take the A57 exit towards Warrington Ctr & East/Irlam. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Woolston Grange Ave/B5210 and continue straight for the next five roundabouts. Youll then reach George Duckworth Island where youll take the 2nd exit onto Birchwood Way/A574. From there, turn right onto Cavendish Ave and then left onto Kelvin St. Finally, turn left onto Reynolds Ave and youll find our training centre on your right. Accreditation

Successful candidates who attend and pass the CISRS Scaffolding 2 Day CPD Refresher training course will receive a CISRS Renewal certificate. This certificate is accredited by the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme CISRS and is recognized by industry bodies such as the Construction Industry Training Board CITB and the Health and Safety Executive HSE.

In addition to the CISRS Renewal certificate, Xyz Training Group will also provide temporary certificates of attendance to all candidates who complete the course. This allows candidates to demonstrate their commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with industry standards.

For National Training Card members, their CISRS accreditation will be automatically added to their account upon completion of the course.
