Course Agenda

The course begins with an introduction to the principles of cable avoidance, including the use of electromagnetic fields to detect underground services. Trainees will also learn about the different modes and settings of the CAT and Genny and how to interpret the signals to accurately locate utilities. The assessment will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the course and will be conducted under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
