Course Information

This training is at the basic awareness level and is intended to advise employees of the dangers of asbestos, where it could be found in building materials and what to do in the case of accidental damage and possible exposure. This is a half day course and complies to the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Who Should Attend?

The Asbestos Awareness training course is designed for all employees whose work could possibly expose them to asbestos and anyone involved in either building refurbishment or demolition where their work will disturb the fabric of the building.

If you are coming from the A19 North & South, simply turn off at the A689 junction and follow the signs for Hartlepool. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on the A689. Then, at the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Stockton Road/A689 through 2 sets of traffic lights. At the next roundabout Owton Lodge Public House, take the 3rd exit onto Seaton Lane/B1276. Finally, at the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Brenda Road/B1277 and you will find the Skills Academy just a short distance on your left.
