This course instructs a user to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safely when using a MEWP or when working at height.

Any person s who as part of their working duties are required to use and inspect safety harnesses. Also Objectives should be This training course provides the core knowledge required by any user, supervisor or manager of personnel using safety harnesses, lanyards, anchor points and their associated products. The course covers the current legal obligations regarding the use of fall protection equipment, causes and resultant effects of a fall, standards and how they affect the equipment selection, storage, care, maintenance and rescue implications associated with some uses of safety harnesses.
Summarise the work at height regulations and associated legislation and be fully aware of their legal responsibilities, Select the correct work equipment and restraint systems to help prevent falls from height thus reducing risk to themselves and others, Carry out inspections of equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose, Confidently select and don a harness correctly.

You may also combine our harness training course with any other half day health and safety course to save you both time and money.. Our most popular course option is to combine our half day harness course with our half day working at heights course.
