Who Should Attend?

Personnel who, as part of their operational duties, must carry out or supervise any projects when working at height which may involve the use of harnesses. This course would suit managers, charge hands and supervisors who also manage any work at height that would require the use of harnesses and lanyards.

Joining Instructions

A working knowledge of harnesses would be an advantage but is not essential. All delegates MUST be physically fit and able to carry out any practical during the service.

Course Agenda

Legislation and regulations. Inspection and maintenance requirements for harnesses. Record keeping and issuing requirements for harnesses. Hazard and control measures to arrest the fall of personnel who are required to either work or supervise work in exposed areas. Relevant standards, certificates of conformity.
