This includes the PASMA Code of Practice and PAS250, which is the publicly available specification for mobile access towers. Participants will learn how to assemble, alter, and dismantle both low level access units and standard mobile access towers.
One of the key focuses of this training course is on current best practices for fall protection. This is essential for ensuring the safety of workers who are using towers and platforms at heights. The course also covers potential hazards that may affect the use of units and platforms at heights. This includes identifying and mitigating risks such as uneven ground, inclement weather, and electrical hazards. Participants will learn how to safely navigate these hazards and ensure a secure working environment for themselves and their colleagues.
In addition to the above, the course may also cover topics such as emergency procedures, rescue planning, and safe working practices. By the end of the training, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of how to safely and effectively work at heights using both low level access units and standard mobile access towers.
