Course Information
To provide delegates with an awareness of the legal implications, common hazards and precautions, together with the correct driving, operation, pre-use inspection, elevating, lowering and emergency procedures for these commonly used MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).

Anyone in an organisation that uses, supervises or manages the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS) and needs to be made aware of the correct selection, inspection and use of safety harnesses to prevent falls.

Course Agenda
Legislation and regulations related to working at heights including CE markings and EN standards will be covered in this course. The hierarchy of measures for working at height and the use of MEWPs and harnesses will also be discussed. ##$$##Participants will learn about the different types of harnesses and lanyards and how to choose the appropriate ones for different situations. Pre-use checks and correct usage of harnesses will be emphasized to ensure safety and compliance. ##$$##The course will include an IPAF harness statement and both theory and practical assessments to evaluate knowledge and skills. By the end of the course, participants will have a thorough understanding of safety harness awareness and be able to apply it in their work. ##$$##.
