Who Should Attend?
Internationally recognised, the IPAF OPERATORS training course is toprovide delegates with an understanding of the need for accidentprevention, safe operational procedures, emergency descent operationsand the responsibilities of the employers and employees. The IPAF coursecovers the main aims of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 andassociated regulations. There is also information on LOLER regs in respectof MEWPS (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms).
Joining Instructions
Delegate Requirements:Each delegate needs to bring along to the training venue with them his/her National Insurance Number, Safety Boots, Hi-Vis Jacket / Vest and a Hard Hat. Also please note that during the practical session on 3b Machines (Mobile Boom / Cherry Picker) each delegate will be required to wear a safety harness. All harnesses and lanyards must have evidence of current thorough examination before they can be used on the training course. We recommend that the delegate brings his/her own personal harness but one will be provided on the day if required.

Theory testPractical trainingPractical assessment. Yes the theory test can be failed and if failed delegates will not be able to progress with the course further (they do get a practice paper first)The practical session can also be failed when operating the machines.
