Scaffold erection, including the correct use and application of fall arrest equipment during scaffold erection. Statutory inspections, completion of reports, handover certificates, and method statements. The inspection of all types of scaffold, including independent, putlog, birdcage, mobile, and static.
Identifying and addressing common hazards and risks associated with scaffold safety. Proper use and maintenance of scaffold equipment, including fall protection systems. Emergency procedures and protocols. Practical exercises and demonstrations.
Case studies and real-life examples of scaffold accidents and their causes. Understanding the importance of communication and teamwork in ensuring scaffold safety. Best practices for conducting scaffold safety inspections. Course duration 1-2 days..
